What it means to be a Bloomer

A Bloomer is an experienced consultant or manager who chooses to collaborate with companies flexibly and independently.

Companies clarify their needs with BlooMIA. You can create and manage your profile directly online; all approved profiles participate in anonymous matching using available evidence (pending or rejected applications are excluded), with explicit evidence gaps. Creating or importing a record is not automatic acceptance, and no engagement is guaranteed.

Relevant projects

Partner with companies facing concrete, ambitious strategic challenges. Access structured briefs tailored to your specific professional background.

Maximum flexibility

You decide your own availability, working arrangements, and retain full autonomy over which projects to accept.

Transparent agreement

The platform requires no subscription or fee from specialists. You agree on scope, deliverables, and fees directly with the enterprise; formal membership terms require approval.

The profile we seek

We value depth of competence and concrete, verifiable outcomes over formal titles alone.

  • Demonstrated track record

Proven and verifiable track record in corporate leadership, advisory firms, or high-growth scale-ups.

  • Specialist expertise

Established mastery in at least one strategic practice area (strategy, AI, finance, legal, HR, operations, etc.).

  • Human review & transparency

Each profile is thoroughly vetted by our talent team via human review, ensuring consistency, quality, and mutual trust.

The application journey

Five transparent and structured stages, built on human dialogue and demonstrated competence.

  1. Create and submit your profile online

Create your account and verify your email. Complete your online profile with your specializations; optionally import data from your CV or LinkedIn. Review the information and submit your profile for the team’s human review.

  2. Professional background review

The Workbloom team carefully evaluates your career path, past projects, and verifiable evidence of impact across corporate or advisory roles.

  3. Introductory conversation

A direct discussion to align on mutual expectations, professional ethics, availability, and target project profiles.

  4. Accreditation in private network

Your profile enters our private network for targeted matches with enterprise briefs. Profiles remain strictly confidential and are never publicly browsable.

  5. Collaboration launch

Presentation of the company brief, direct alignment with the client, and mutual agreement on milestones, timelines, and compensation.

Questions from Bloomers

Transparent answers regarding regulatory, professional, and operational aspects.

Can I apply to Workbloom while holding a full-time job?

You may submit your background, provided you ensure full compatibility with your primary employment.

Carefully evaluate your employment contract, authorization requirements, non-compete covenants, conflicts of interest, and working-hour limits with a qualified legal advisor. Profile privacy does not waive legal or contractual duties. Currently you can contact the team to apply; there is no self-publishing directory.

Is secondary consulting legal if I am employed full-time?

Compatibility depends on specific circumstances: Workbloom cannot issue generic authorizations or legal advice.

Legality is determined by applicable labour laws, collective agreements, individual employment contracts, and the nature of the advisory work. Verify duty of loyalty, exclusivity clauses, and time constraints with an employment lawyer. The platform never replaces professional legal counsel.

Must I notify my primary employer?

Requirements depend on your employment contract, company policy, and the scope of work.

Before accepting any advisory commitment, check whether your contract requires disclosure or prior written authorization. Consult your HR department or an employment counsel: platform confidentiality must never be used to bypass legal or contractual responsibilities.

Do I need a VAT registration or freelance tax ID?

Requirements depend on the frequency, scale, and nature of your engagements and your local tax status.

Consult a certified tax advisor or accountant to define the proper contractual framework and manage social security and taxes. Workbloom does not handle accounting, does not provide free VAT registration, and does not provide tax advice.

How much time must I commit to projects?

You define your availability and agree on commitments directly with the client organization.

Working hours, duration, availability, and deliverables are negotiated directly between the parties. The platform expects truthful availability declarations: never take on commitments conflicting with primary employment or existing clients.

Can I decline an opportunity after joining the network?

Yes, always. Being accepted into the network or receiving a communication never obligates you to take a project.

The planned model expects a response to initial contact within 2 business days. An engagement is formed solely if company and consultant agree on scope, fees, and timelines; registration neither guarantees nor obligates an assignment.

What happens if a project does not go as planned?

Disputes over project deliverables remain strictly between the company and consultant under their contract and applicable law.

The Success Guarantee relates solely to profile suitability against the original confirmed requirements, evaluated by human review with a potential token recredit. It is neither a warranty on work results nor a monetary refund. Claim, clarification and appeal workflows are implemented; final commercial terms still require approval before live sales.

Are there any fees or subscriptions for Bloomers?

Applying and joining the network is completely free of membership fees or subscriptions for consultants.

Commercial packages are paid by client companies. Advisory fees are negotiated directly between the parties; professional, tax, and social security obligations remain the consultant's responsibility. For admission details, contact our team.

What is the benefit of becoming a Bloomer?

Direct access to relevant business challenges with total respect for autonomy and professional confidentiality.

The model protects your autonomy in determining fees and terms while keeping your profile strictly confidential. It never makes unrealistic claims of guaranteed assignment volumes or income multiplication. Admission recognizes verified, documented expertise.
